Su: " Món gì ngon thế? "

Tranh thủ ăn khỏi trễ giờ rồi.

Hai ngày một đêm ở SeaLink Beach Hotel

Cả nhà vừa đi chơi ở Phan thiết về, có Duy đi cùng. Kỳ này ở SeaLink Beach Hotel, một khu resort vừa khai trương cách đây không lâu. Nu sướng mê vì ở đây có đến 4 hồ bơi. Su thì phấn khích vì sự sang trọng và đẹp đẽ không ngờ của khách sạn. Nhà mình được đón tiếp nồng nhiệt ngay từ sảnh ngoài.

Ấn tượng nhất ban đầu là những cái xe điện chở mọi người đi theo yêu cầu. Thậm chí, chú phục vụ chạy xe xuống tận bãi xe hơi để chở một mình bố lên sảnh làm bố quá ái ngại.

Lobby cực kỳ rộng làm Nu không thể không chụp một bức hình kỷ niệm.

Mỗi người được phục vụ ngay bằng khăn thơm và một ly nước cam mát lạnh khiến ai nấy quên hẳn sự mệt nhọc của hơn bốn tiếng ngồi xe. Su, khác hẳn sự khó chịu thường hay có, cũng bắt chước Nu kỷ niệm một bức hình ở lobby. Rất ra dáng anh Hai.

Rồi là các bức tạo dáng của Su, Nu và Duy trên sân thượng của khách sạn.

Này là "Biểu tượng chiến thắng"

Nu chuẩn bị cho hành trình thi vào Trần Đại Nghĩa

Tháng 6 qua thật nhanh. Thế là Nu đã hết một tháng hè. Tháng bảy này Nu bắt đầu cuộc hành trình 'gian khổ'  để chuẩn bị thi vào trường Trần Đại Nghĩa năm tới.

Mẹ tìm các thầy giỏi ở Bình Thạnh để Nu học thêm các môn Văn, Toán và Anh Văn. Bắt đầu từ tháng 7, Nu sẽ học Văn các chiều thứ năm và thứ bảy từ 5:00pm đến 6:30pm. Toán thì học từ 2:00pm đến 4:00pm mỗi chiều thứ bảy và chúa nhật. Không còn thời gian cho Anh văn nữa. Mẹ tìm ra giải pháp là mời chị quen với anh Su đến nhà dạy.

Bố cũng sẽ rất bận rộn để đưa đón Nu đi học.

Ai cũng phải cố gắng nhưng cố gắng của Nu là quan trọng nhất. Cuộc thi sẽ rất khó vì năm nay tỉ lệ chọi đã lên đến 1:10, nhưng anh Su làm được thì Nu cũng phải làm được!

When television was first invented, it received alot of bad critics. It was considered to contaminate the soul of viewers, to illusionize them with ideas of a fictional world, and to be a waste of time and money. Time itself has proven that those allegations were all wrong, and television soon became a phenomenon, a household appliance that can be seen in almost every house. Therefore, I think the same is happening to the E-mail. Ofcourse everything has its two sides, but in the case of e-mail, the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages.

People will say that email have alot of flaws and difficulties like: spamming, loss of password, having no sincerity and emotion.... But they are all not a big deal and can be either easily negated or fixed. However there are two main reasons why the disadvantages of email cannot outweigh the advantages:

Firstly, email is undeniably a great leap forward of technology because of its convenience. Imagine having relatives living abroad and you want to contact them. When writing a letter seems to be "sincere", "appreciative", there are alot of problems underneath. While you have to pay alot for stamps and transaction fee, you are taking a high risk of losing your letter on the way. If not, you are still annoyed by the long time it took for the letter to arrive and a new one to comeback. If you are sending a letter announcing that you are married, you will probably recieve the congratulation letter after you have already had a kid. Why would you want to do that, when with only a click, you can be relief to know that the email you want to send will be sent to the receiver.

Secondly, and this is the matter of common sense, is that email continues to not only exist, but to become a widespread mean of communication. Darwin evolution theory has stated clearly that, whatever that cannot adapt or cannot provide what its enviroment requires will be came extinct. This is true in the case of the e-mail because if the disadvantages outweigh the advantages, no one will use email and would have continued to write and send letters. The presence of email until today can only mean one thing: email is a means of communication that meets the requirements of even the most nostalgic person.

To conclude, email is definitely a major advancement of technology. Despite the inevitable picayune drawbacks, it had a huge positive impact on professional and social communication. The disadvantages of email, if exist, is only a bit of nostalgia or minor bugs that can be fixed. Email was, were and will play a vital role in the lives of people all around the world.

Su's writing assigment

Since a long time ago, human invented machines to help their lives easier so that they could concentrate on researching something more prodigious. Now we have to ask ourselves: "What are we, masters or slaves?". The answer is:  we have become too dependent on them that now we cannot do things our ancestor could do without them. This is a very negative development because instead of being better, we are now becoming less" intelligent" and leading a sedentary life.

To be honest, we cannot deny the benefits that machines have done to us. However, machines should always be serve only as a tool, not what we cannot live without. Take solving math problems as an example. Before the invention of calculators, our predecessors was adept in solving math problems without the help of anything. Therefore, it is both sarcastic and sad to see that students today consider the calculator as a must-have life saver. Since the later generation of the calculator inventors had to rely on it to do simple calculations with the excuse of "double-checking", and since the invention meant to  human's wisdom, turned out to be downgrading it.

Moreover, by depending too much on machines and advanced technologies, we have eventually led a sedentary life. In the movie "Wall-e", we can see the future humankind if we continue to rely too much on machines. Big, fat, slow people were sitting on a digital chairs that provides people with everything they need without moving a finger. We could be laughing very hard when watching a man and a woman speak to each other face to face like they have never spoken before or when the spaceship captain made an enormous effort to lurch heavily after a long time sitting on digital chairs. However, those moments will become reality if we depend too much on machines and let them do all the work.

In conclusion, it is true that technology made our lives comfortable, but an overdose of anything will just do harm. We are the ones who created the machines, so we are the ones who must take control of them.
