“Everything has its reasons and results”- Unknown author. I have been learning English because I think it will be very beneficial for me in the future. By learning English, I can travel everywhere and be a successful man later in my life.
To begin, English is like the international language. According to a recent research, English has the most number of speakers all over the world, followed by Chinese. Therefore, if I can learn and be adept at English skills, I can travel everywhere. While ignoring the fear of getting lost, I can fully enjoy all the marvelous things about various cultures and people. I also enjoy talking to foreigners because the excitement and pride of being able to talk with the people that are not from your country can never be described by words. Moreover, since I can communicate well, I can tell other people how wonderful Vietnam is like and introduce my lovely country to them in details.
Secondly, learning English may become a big advantage for me in life. I will be able to study abroad, broadening my minds and learn about other things that I have never known of. When applying for scholarships or jobs, I will receive more attention than other candidates for the ability to use English. If I decide to stay in Vietnam, I can be an English teacher. Thus I can teach how beautiful a language English is and helping the next generations to be better at English while making ends meet for my family.
Last but not least, learning English can help me win this contest and also the valuable prize. I do not think that I am the best but I will be a hard opponent to a great deal of the competitors. If needed, I accept to be the “filter”, eliminating all the weak ones and help the truly best person claim the prize.
As you can see, for all the reasons and benefit I have listed above, you can easily see that learning English is not a time-consuming, wasteful investment, but in fact, an absolutely wise one. With English along with exceptional knowledge and life skills, the sky is the limit to you.
